Here's What's New!!

"Prop 37" recently passed in the state of Oregon!
There, government yielded to pressure from citizens to protect the value of property owned by individual citizens. Their Legislature has decreed that if you want to control the land, you had better pay for it. We call upon our own representatives to do the same.
As Dane County moves forward in its Comprehensive Planning process we hope the State Legislators are paying attention. One very obvious shortfall: There has not been a stipulation protecting landowners from the confiscation of their property values.
From the inception of this great nation it was understood that ownership of property, whether it be land or other physical assets, must be protected.
Those of us who raise many other issues about the dangers of centralized planning feel that, at the minimum, government owes citizens this important financial security.
Before the planning goes much further, before more hearts are broken and bank accounts drained, before our historic family connections to our land are shattered, our elected officials can do the right thing. We call for the law to be named “The Wisconsin Land Value Protection Act.”
Get Involved!
It's not all doom and gloom, especially if we work together to stand together and get the word out!
We're working to increase our presence in Wisconsin politics and network with successful initiatives across the country. Put your passion to good use! If you can, get in touch with us about making a donation to the cause, or consider these ideas...
Most of all, don't give up!
In Treasury for the Free World (1946), Albert Einstein wrote,
"It is the duty of every citizen according to his best capacities
to give validity to his convictions in political affairs."
